I want to thank all of our wonderful friends for making Missy's birthday so special! She knew some friends were going to meet us after church for lunch. What she didn't know is that they were all going to attend church with us. I can't describe how wonderful it was to walk up into that sanctuary and see all of your beautiful smiling faces... Friends as far as the eye could see! I'm sure that was a little glimpse of what heaven will be like. Melanie would have been so proud!! Missy got up and spoke at the end of the service. She thanked everyone for making her feel so special today, during such a difficult time. She said that her friends coming to church with her was the best gift they could have given her. I would have to agree!

One week ago, four lives ended abruptly as result of a two-vehicle collision in Springfield. The impact from that accident has affected families and communities throughout central Kentucky.
Melanie Wise, 31, Madeline, 7, David, 6, and Charlotte, 1, died as a result of an accident that occurred around 8 a.m., April 25, two miles south of Springfield on KY 55.
Carrie Lee Spalding, a cousin of Melanie's husband, Curtis Wise, said the loss is "unimaginable".
"They were the sweetest little family in the world." Spalding said. "They were beautiful, all of them."
Melanie Wise and her children will be remembered by friends and family throughout the region, many of whom live in Marion County.
