Unique Guest Books

Here's another great idea. In lieu of the traditional guest book our bride this weekend had purchased a coffee table book of Bermuda (their destination honeymoon site) for their guest to sign. It was filled with beautiful pictures of Bermuda and had lots of space for sentiments from their friends and families. I thought it was an outstanding idea and I heard lots of the guest comment favorably as well.
Additional ideas would be using a book feauturing the local of your reception e.g. Keeneland, Churchill Downs, etc.
or even less specifically a photo book highlighting the best of the city in which you are being wed e.g. Lexington, Louisville, Gravel Switch (not sure if they make one), etc...

Remembering Melanie

This website is a work-in-progress, but I'm gonna go ahead and release the web address. I created it in memory of my sister Melanie and her 3 children. Melanie and her kids loved watching our family videos so much!

Again thanks to all of you for keeping the Moore and Wise families in your prayers. We can feel it... it has really made a huge difference!

Missing Melanie

Most of you know that on April 25th I lost my sister, two nieces, and nephew in a terrible accident. Losing four family members simultaneously is more than any person should ever have to endure... it's unimaginable.

The support given to me and my family has humbled me! The whole community pulled together and took care of us. I remember very little about the day of the accident or the funeral, but I do remember someone helping me pin my pants because they wouldn't stay up from the weight I lost those first few days. God Bless whoever that was! Bless all of you for helping us get through those first few days.

I'm putting together a blog in memory of my sister and her children that will include video and pictures from their life. I'll post the web address when it's ready. I'm planning on including the video footage shown at the funeral & a clip from the birth of Charlotte. I remember tears of joy streaming down her face when I gave it to her at Christmas last year.

Please continue to keep my family in your prayers, especially my brother-in-law Curtis.
